Correspondence Workflow - New Creation Capabilities for an Elevated User Experience

Correspondence Workflow is now generally available for all customers, including starter pack customers. Additionally, it now offers unique approval paths, streamlined communication processes, and the ability to enforce contractual obligations.

Key benefits of the Correspondence Workflow include:

  • Improved Integration: Current Step Assignee, Current Step Due Date, and Distribution Groups are integrated between Correspondence and Workflow. Assignee and Due Date fields are replaced with the Workflow Current Step Assignee and Current Step Due Date fields from the workflow.

  • Elevated Experience: To remove the ambiguity of managing Status when configuring a Workflow, users can only manually select Draft Status before triggering a workflow. Post Response and Change Status buttons have been removed, as has the Close option in the overflow menu.

  • Workflow Configuration: For Correspondence Types with a workflow applied but not configured on a project, a banner will appear, informing the user that the item cannot be created until the workflow is configured. Admins can navigate to configure the workflow directly from the banner.
