Procore Launches New Job Board For The Construction Industry

July 29, 2020 by Duane Craig

The Construction Career Board on Procore’s Community website is now live and includes thousands of open positions. Unlike most other job boards, this one is free for both job seekers and employers, and it’s international in scale (English and Spanish).

Employers can sign up for a free account and post job ads that are distributed nationally free of charge. Similarly, anyone can search for and apply for jobs at no cost. And, if you use Procore, you’ll soon be able to post and apply for jobs from within an embedded app.

“Procore’s vision is to improve the lives of everyone in construction. Construction has been greatly impacted by the pandemic, and Procore wants to support the construction industry as best we can,” said Tooey Courtemanche, Procore’s CEO. “Our new Construction Career Board leverages our network to connect people looking for work with those who are hiring. I hope this will be a helpful resource during these challenging times.”

Bridge Between Jobseekers and Employers

The Construction Career Board runs on Arcoro’s job board technology and its back-end, cloud-based human resources management software, the leading solution already used by more than 10,000 contractors. Procore and Arcoro say the career board can help the industry as it navigates the COVID-19 pandemic as well as make a difference in construction’s long-term labor issues.

“There are more people on the market than ever before, so Procore and Arcoro see this as a great opportunity to really aid in the industry’s recovery and help organizations get in front of more talent than they’ve been used to seeing in the past,” said Bryan May, vice president of business development for Arcoro.

Besides searching for jobs by keyword and title you can specify location and specialty. Post your resume too. May emphasized that there’s no need to register or build a profile before looking for a job—you can even apply for a job at your employer-of-choice without creating a username and password.

The Construction Career Board helps employers find qualified construction candidates with a few simple clicks. Employers can:

  • Use online, automated recruiting.
  • Find better candidates by targeting job ads.
  • Automatically distribute job ads to trusted careers sites like BirdDogJobs, Glassdoor, and Indeed.
  • Receive emails from interested candidates.
  • Automate candidate communications and interviews.

It’s More Than Just Recruiting Software

Arcoro’s software takes a don’t-make-me-think approach to recruiting. The solution scales so employers can automate hiring, managing and growing their workforces. May pointed to Arcoro’s 23-year history in supporting the construction industry; customer care representatives know the industry and understand what people are trying to accomplish with their employment, recruitment, and HR initiatives.

Besides The Construction Career Board, Procore’s Talent Acquisition team will offer exclusive content to Procore Community members to help with hiring and recruiting. The team will hold three live office sessions focusing on best practices in hiring, making hiring decisions, and building a talent brand that attracts candidates. People can join the Procore Community to stay updated on this offer.

You need to have a Procore login to access Procore Community to get the Talent Acquisition team’s services. Both Procore customers and their collaborators on projects have access.

Ready to reach construction candidates faster? Employers, register now to post jobs for free and jobseekers, find your next job the no-hassle way.
