Manage BIM Coordination Issues Faster with Procore AI

What it is: Procore's AI is now integrated into the BIM Coordination Issues tool on web. Coordination leads, project engineers, and PMs can draft issue titles, descriptions, and fields from text, photos, or linked documents (with human confirmation before saving), get grounded summaries of long issue threads, and ask everyday questions of linked drawings, specs, models, RFIs, and submittals. Natural-language queries power ad-hoc reports and view filters. All AI interactions respect existing Procore permissions and licensing. Who it's for: VDC and coordination teams who want faster issue intake and meeting-ready summaries without giving up access controls. Why it matters: Field notes turn into complete issues faster, long threads get summarized in seconds, and fewer fields are left blank, while Datagrid never surfaces content a user couldn't already access or creates an issue without confirmation. How to get started: Open BIM Coordination Issues on web and use Procore AI to draft, summarize, or query. Confirm before any issue is saved. Launching July 21.

Tailor BIM Coordination Issues to How Your Team Actually Works

What it is: Company admins can now customize the Type and Priority fields on BIM Coordination Issues to match how their organization categorizes coordination work. A new Field Options tab under Company Admin lets admins add custom values, deactivate defaults that don't apply, and protect Procore's standard values from accidental edits. Changes sync automatically across web, mobile, and the Procore BIM Plugins for Revit and Navisworks. Who it's for: Company admins, VDC teams, and coordination leads who want issue categories that reflect their own vocabulary. Why it matters: Fewer issues get logged as generic 'Other,' reporting gets more accurate, and your office, field, and design teams all work from the same option set. How to get started: Go to Company Admin > Coordination Issues > Field Options to add or deactivate Type and Priority values. Launching July 21.

Procore BIM Plugin 1.6.0: Save and Export Models Directly to Document Management

What it is: The Procore BIM Plugin for Revit and Navisworks now treats Document Management as a first-class destination. VDC coordinators can export BIM files directly to a PDM folder, use Save and Save As to PDM with required metadata applied in the plugin, and browse, search, and filter Document Management files without leaving the plugin. The release adds batch export of multiple NWC files from Revit 3D Views, a redesigned File Info panel, more deliberate Clash Manager behavior, and a pre-publish permissions check. Who it's for: VDC coordinators and BIM managers standardizing on Document Management who move models between the design environment and Procore. Why it matters: You skip the manual file-move step, your metadata stays intact, and multi-view exports that used to take many passes happen in one. Document Management stays your single source of truth without leaving Revit or Navisworks. How to get started: Update to Plugin 1.6.0 in Revit or Navisworks, then use the PDM destination when saving or exporting models. Launching July 21.

Get Notified Automatically When a New Project Is Created at Your Company

What it is: Company admins can designate a distribution group to be emailed automatically whenever a new project is created, whether through the UI, the API, or as a Concept project. The email carries project name, number, creator, creation date and time, source template, region or office, status, and a direct link. Configuration lives in a new Email Notifications page under Company Admin, and the system sender has been updated from 'do-not-reply' to 'Procore Admin.' Who it's for: Company admins and stakeholders at organizations that struggle with shadow projects, duplicate setups, and late awareness of new work. Why it matters: The right people learn about new projects in real time, which closes a long-requested visibility gap and helps prevent duplicate or shadow setups. How to get started: Go to Company > Admin > Project Settings > Email Notifications and select a company-level distribution group. Launching July 21.

Incidents Conditional Custom Fields for General Information — Now Generally Available

What it is: The General Incident Information form now shows only the fields relevant to what a reporter has already entered. Admins configure if/then logic so questions appear — or stay hidden — based on prior responses. The form adapts in real time as users work through it. Who it's for: Safety teams and field reporters who find all-purpose incident forms slow to complete and prone to gaps or errors. Why it matters: Even within a single incident type, not every field applies. On an injury or illness incident, a custom field asking whether PPE was worn can reveal a "Reason PPE was not worn" field only when the answer is "No." Conditional logic hides fields until they're needed — giving reporters a form that fits the situation, and giving safety teams cleaner data on the back end. How to get started: Go to Incidents admin settings and select Fieldsets to configure conditional logic for your General Information custom fields. Fields will show or hide automatically based on prior entries when reporters fill out the form. Launching July 21.
