Progress meeting
A regularly scheduled opportunity led by a project's architect, owner's representative, or construction manager and attended by the general contractor and relevant consultant(s) to receive construction progress reports and photos and to discuss issues raised about the cost, design, safety, and other issues related to a construction project's progress.
Progress meetings are regular gatherings where project stakeholders review progress, discuss issues, and plan upcoming tasks. They ensure alignment, facilitate communication, and enable timely decision-making, helping to keep the project on schedule and resolve challenges efficiently.
