If your submission is one of the 21 chosen finalists, you'll earn a free ticket to Groundbreak 2024 where you'll receive marketing and PR exposure and have the opportunity to be showcased in Procore marketing campaigns throughout the year!

Regardless of role, sector and company in the construction industry, the Groundbreaker Awards celebrate excellence in the following categories:
Excellence in Sustainability
Awarded to the company or project that most efficiently uses resources and embraces environmentally responsible processes throughout every stage of construction.
Excellence in Innovation
Awarded to the company that pushes the boundaries of construction technology. From data science and machine learning to innovative breakthroughs that help challenge the status quo of building in our industry.
Excellence in Health & Safety
Awarded to the company or project that represents the pinnacle of safety performance in our industry and their commitment to safety, risk control, occupational health management & mental health awareness.
Excellence in Community
Awarded to the company or project that positively impacts and connects people through their work and brings economic development to help shape their local and neighboring communities.
Excellence in Culture & Workforce Development
Awarded to the company that best illustrates a focus on company culture including, but not limited to diversity, equity, and inclusion and best promotes a continued focus on developing the next construction generation.
Groundbreaker of the Year
For the individual who pioneers connecting construction, building lasting industry relationships, and whose dedication to professional performance and progress exemplifies the highest standards of our industry.
Excellence in Project Delivery - People’s Choice Award
We consolidated General Contractor, Specialty Contractor and Owner Project Excellence Categories into one “Project Delivery” category. We’re encouraging all members of the project team to submit your project excellence.
Global recognition for being a Groundbreaker.
Winners in all 7 categories will be announced at Procore's annual industry event, Groundbreak, held in November in Denver, CO. But those accolades are only part of what you'll win.
Finalists
Each finalist will receive one complimentary conference pass to Groundbreak 2024, where winners of each category will be announced, with the exception of the Excellence in Project Delivery - People's Choice Award category, which will be awarded up to 4 tickets to Groundbreak 2024 (one for the Owner, General Contractor and up to 2 Specialty Contractors listed on the submission).
Finalists will also receive a Groundbreaker Award Plaque and Groundbreaker hoodie.
Each finalist will be announced publicly and have their story featured on Procore.com, as well as Procore social media channels.
Finalists will also receive a social media package that includes a Groundbreaker Awards finalist logo and high quality graphics to share on your social channels. Total approximate retail value (ARV) is USD $200.
Winners
Winners will receive all finalist prizes with the exception of the plaque–a Groundbreaker Award Trophy will be awarded in its place.
Each award winner will also receive promotion and media exposure via a Procore Customer Story Package to include a Case Study, Article, Social Media Promotion, award recognition on Procore.com, Procore Press Release, and/or Social Media Promotion. Winners will also receive a social media package containing a Groundbreaker Awards winner logo, as well as social media graphics and posts the winner may share on their social channels. The Customer Story Package may also include film, photography and/or other media and PR opportunities while at Groundbreak 2024. Total approximate retail value (ARV) is USD $500. Winners will also have the opportunity to be showcased in Procore marketing initiatives throughout the following year, including a chance to be featured prominently in the Convention Center at Groundbreak 2025.
Groundbreaker of the Year
Winner of this category will receive winner prizes noted above, in addition to a Groundbreak 2025 VIP package.
Included is a complimentary pass to the 2025 Groundbreak event (date and location TBD) as well as a round-trip coach flight from the major airport nearest the winner’s home (up to USD $1,000 maximum) and single occupancy hotel accommodations. Total approximate retail value (ARV) is USD $4,000.
