2026 Groundbreaker Awards

• Each finalist is eligible to receive one complimentary conference pass to Groundbreak 2026, where winners of each category will be announced.

• Finalists will also receive a Groundbreaker Award Plaque.

• Each finalist will be announced publicly and have their story featured on Procore social media channels.

• Finalists will also receive a social media package that includes a Groundbreaker Awards finalist logo and high quality graphics to share on your social channels.

• Winners are eligible to receive all finalist prizes with the exception of the plaque–a Groundbreaker Award Trophy will be awarded in its place.

• Winners will also receive promotion and media exposure via a Procore Customer Story Package. This may include a case study, article or video, social media promotion, recognition on Procore.com, a Procore press release, and/or social media promotion. Winners will also receive a social media package containing a Groundbreaker Awards winner logo, as well as social media graphics and posts the winner may share on their social channels. The Customer Story Package may also include film, photography and/or other media and PR opportunities while at Groundbreak 2026. Winners will also have the opportunity to be showcased in Procore marketing initiatives throughout the following year, including a chance to be featured prominently in the Convention Center at Groundbreak 2026 and/or 2027.

• Winner of this category is eligible to receive winner prizes noted above, in addition to a Groundbreak 2026 VIP package.

• Included is a complimentary pass to the 2027 Groundbreak event (date and location TBD) as well as a round-trip coach flight from the major airport nearest the winner’s home (up to USD $1,000 maximum) and single occupancy hotel accommodations. Total approximate retail value (ARV) is USD $2,500.

• The program is open to all construction professionals and associations who leverage Procore as either a customer or collaborator.

• Applicants must agree to the use of company name and logo in Procore marketing channels.

• Applicants must agree to be mentioned in a press release announcing the finalists / winners.

Finalists (3 per category) and winners (selected from the 3 finalists) in each of the 3 categories will be chosen by a judging committee made up of Procore company stakeholders with the exception of the People's Choice award where the winners will be chosen by a live audience attending Groundbreak 2026. Judges will look at the strength of each question answered by the submitting company to determine the top 3 submissions (finalists) in each category. Our judges generally look for submissions that answer all of the questions thoroughly and illustrates impact. Images that are provided should correlate with the rest of your submission. Who can enter?

Construction professionals from any size company, company type or association that leverage Procore as a customer or collaborator in the following regions may enter: United States, Canada (excluding Quebec), UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. All submissions must be entered in English for consideration.

How do I enter the 2026 Groundbreaker Awards?

Review the categories above and submit between April 15 - June 8, 2026 on Groundbreaker Awards landing page.

What is the deadline to submit? 

Submissions close June 8, 2026 at 11:59pm Pacific Time (PT).

Can I enter more than one submission?

Yes, you may enter multiple submissions per company. However, we ask that you enter a different program, initiative or project if you are entering in more than one category.

Are the awards open to companies, projects or individuals?

It depends on the category. Both the Building for Tomorrow and the Empowering the Industry Awards are open to both companies and projects. The Innovation Intelligence Award will celebrate companies. See the full details in the categories section above.

If I cannot attend Groundbreak can I still enter? Can I still win?

Absolutely. Although we would like all of our finalists to attend Groundbreak to be part of the Groundbreaker Awards celebration, you do not need to be present to win.

What are the Groundbreaker Awards?

The Groundbreaker Awards is Procore’s annual industry awards program, celebrating excellence in the construction industry in three categories and putting a spotlight on the individuals, companies and projects that are making an impact and driving progress in the construction industry.

What are the categories?

There are 3 categories for the 2026 awards program: The Building for Tomorrow Award, Innovation Intelligence Award, and Empowering the Industry Award.

What makes a winning entry?

This answer varies per category. In general, our judging panel gives preference to submissions that are able to demonstrate strong results and / or impact. Three images will be required to support each entry and It is perfectly acceptable to include additional images, testimonials, video and other items to further support the entry. Who are the judges for the competition?

Each category will have a unique panel of judges made up of Procore stakeholders from various departments and teams. Judges will use the judging criteria and submission strengths to make finalist and winner selections in each category without any bias given to entrants regardless of those who work within Procore with the exception of the People’s Choice Award category, who's winner will be determined by Groundbreak 2026 attendees from the 3 category winners chosen by a panel of Procore judges.

How many finalists and winners will be announced in each category?

We will announce three finalist submissions in each category. One winner submission will be selected from the three finalists in each category.

When will finalists and winners be announced?

Finalists will be announced on Procore Social Media Channels in September 2026. Winners will be announced at Procore’s Groundbreak 2026 in Orlando this October.

Where and when is the Groundbreaker Awards Celebration?

The 2026 Groundbreaker Awards will be held at Procore’s Groundbreak 2026 conference in Orlando this October.

What are the prizes for finalists?

What are the prizes for the Groundbreaker of the Year?

In addition to the prizes awarded to each winning entry noted above, the winner of the People's Choice Award will also receive a Groundbreak 2026 VIP Package to include a complimentary pass to the 2027 Groundbreak conference–date and location to be announced. This prize award includes round-trip flight, hotel accommodations, and one Procore Groundbreak 2027 Conference Pass.
