Clearer Compounded Markup Calculations
Launching May 11th-14th. We’ve enhanced the financial markup experience to provide greater transparency when using selective compounding. Now, when you apply compounded markups, the dropdown clearly displays which markups are being compounded, using a two-line format for easy reference. If the list of markups is too long, it will be neatly truncated with an ellipsis, and you can simply hover to see a tooltip that lists all markups involved in the calculation. This update helps you always know exactly how your markups are being calculated—whether they’re applied to the original cost or on top of other markups. By making markup calculations traceable and easy to audit, this improvement reduces manual reconciliation time and increases your confidence in pricing outputs.

Track Idle and Operating Equipment Hours
Launching March 2nd.Procore has enhanced Equipment Timesheets by replacing the single “hours” field with two distinct fields: “operating hours” and “idle hours.” This update gives you the flexibility to capture both productive and idle (standby) time for your equipment each day. Only operating hours are required, so you can continue to log a single field if preferred, or opt in to track idle time for deeper insights. This improvement addresses the need for greater visibility into how equipment is utilized on site versus how much time it spends in productive operation. By distinguishing between idle and operating hours, specialty contractors can improve equipment tracking, optimize resource allocation, and make more informed decisions to boost efficiency.
