Beta beginning February 16th. Procore is introducing significant enhancements to the Owner Invoice Prefill process, now available in Beta. These updates empower users with greater flexibility, transparency, and control when compiling costs, retainage, and backup documentation from approved Subcontractor Invoices and Direct Costs into Owner Invoices. With this release, users can now view detailed breakdowns of prefilled costs by invoice line item, including the ability to see which costs have been prefilled, how many items are included, and the specific amounts allocated to each column.
A new, right-pinned column in the Schedule of Values (SOV) table allows users to quickly access prefilled cost details, while an adjacent column displays the count of prefilled items per line. Clicking “View” opens a comprehensive modal showing source details, billing periods, adjustments, and direct links to the originating cost objects in Procore. Users can also make and track manual adjustments, distinguish between computed and manual changes, and report on both adjustments and billable status. The selection process for prefilling costs is now more robust—users can review, select, or deselect cost objects and line items from current, prior, or future billing periods, and mark items as billable or non-billable as needed. Enhanced filtering and search capabilities make it easy to find and manage relevant costs, while new reporting options provide visibility into which costs were billed on which Owner Invoice line items.
