Star Conversations for Instant Access

Launching April 21. Procore now makes it easier to stay on top of your most important project discussions with the new "Starring" feature in Conversations. Users can now star any Direct Message, Group Conversation, or Item Conversation, instantly pinning high-priority threads to the top of their Conversations hub. This enhancement eliminates the need to scroll through long, alphabetically sorted lists, ensuring that critical updates and action items are always within reach. By allowing you to star and unstar conversations as priorities shift, this feature streamlines communication for field teams, project managers, and engineers who juggle multiple active threads. No more wasted time searching for key discussions or risking missed updates—starred conversations are always front and center. This update brings Procore’s Conversations tool in line with modern chat and email platforms, boosting productivity and helping teams respond faster.

Automated Office Sync for Lien Waivers

Launching April 21. Procore Pay now streamlines lien waiver management for companies operating under multiple DBAs within a single Procore instance. With this update, a project’s Procore Office—specifically the “Division Visible on PDF” field—will automatically sync to Levelset, Procore Pay’s document engine for lien waivers. This enhancement replaces the previous manual workaround, which required users to copy over DBA names and was prone to human error, lacked scalability, and did not dynamically update new office locations. Now, when office details are updated at the company level, those changes will automatically reflect on future lien waivers, ensuring accuracy and reducing administrative overhead. This improvement is especially valuable for general contractors managing multiple business entities, as it guarantees the correct DBA name appears on all project lien waivers without manual intervention. By automating this process, Procore Pay supports your business growth and operational efficiency, making lien waiver management more reliable and scalable.

Customizable RFQ Completion Email Messaging

Beta beginning April 15. Procore now empowers Admins with greater control over RFQ (Request for Quote) communications by introducing a new RFQ Settings page within Change Events. With this update, Admins can customize or completely remove the default “not a notice to proceed” disclaimer in RFQ completion emails. This enhancement addresses feedback from leading general contractors who found the previous hard-coded message confusing for vendors and subcontractors, especially when it conflicted with other project directives. The new RFQ Settings section, available at the project level, allows Admins to tailor the completion email message to fit their specific workflow. You can enter custom text (up to 256 characters) or leave the field blank to omit the notice entirely. Any changes are validated and saved with clear confirmation, and line breaks are preserved in outgoing emails. If no custom message is set, the email will no longer include the previous default disclaimer.
