Launching February 17th. Project teams can now create and manage document placeholders in Procore PDM, making it easier to track and organize documents that are expected but not yet available. Placeholders act as stand-ins for future documents, capturing essential details like document name, type, due date, and responsible party.
This new feature centralizes the tracking of anticipated deliverables directly within Procore, eliminating the need for external spreadsheets or manual follow-ups. By assigning clear ownership and deadlines, teams can proactively plan for required documents, hold contributors accountable, and gain real-time visibility into missing or overdue items. Placeholders also allow teams to define naming conventions and metadata in advance, ensuring consistency and streamlining the process when the actual documents are submitted. This enhancement helps reduce project delays, improves collaboration, and keeps everyone aligned on deliverable expectations.
