Our December release includes thirteen (13) new capabilities and enhancements for Project Management, addressing more than 1200 User Voice votes from over 1000 customer accounts.
This new functionality enhances Task Management, Daily Log, Project Creation, and Submittals processes, offering users more detailed data, increased automation, and greater transparency for more efficient project management.
Task Management Enhancements
Task Distribution List (web only) introduces a distribution list feature for tasks, which will increase stakeholder communication, improve task management, and ensure key updates reach all relevant parties.
Bulk Editing on Tasks makes updating the same criteria across multiple tasks fast and easy.
Project Creation Enhancements
Three new fields in Project Creation provide a more comprehensive and qualitative view of your projects’ data. Increase your ability to forecast with accuracy and discover actionable, targeted insights into your projects based on:
Project Sector categorize the project based on the facility's function or purpose, such as Retail, Roadwork, or Multifamily.
Work Scope - classify the work according to scope, such as New Construction or Renovation/Alteration.
Delivery Method - define how stakeholders will collaborate across each phase of the project including planning, design, and build. For example, Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, or Construction Manager at Risk.
For new customers, Project Sector and Work Scope will be required by default. Existing customers will have the option to leverage these new fields, but they will not be required without advanced notice.

Submittals Enhancements
Increased transparency and security:
Filter Submittal Log to Exclude Private Submittals - enhances control over Submittal visibility and export options, allowing more efficient data handling.
Display Email Recipients on Change History - increases transparency and traceability related to Submittals.

Streamlined work for greater efficiency:
A new look and feel for Submittal Settings.
Duplicating Submittals (within the same project) increases efficiency in Submittal management by saving time and reducing errors.
Add Submittal Workflow Templates to Project Template to allow workflow templates to be carried over to new projects created from a project template. This will save time during setup and promote consistency across projects.

New “Daily Log” enhancements
Streamline the process and promote collaborations across the team:
Collaborator Entry has been expanded to include 12 more logs, enabling GCs to grant permissions to their SCs to add details. This allows SCs to directly enter project information - such as Labor, Schedule Progress, Deliveries, Equipment Usage, and more. This will minimize the back and forth on phone calls, emails, and chat to save time and reduce errors.
Copying Daily Logs will be available to Standard Users via granular permissions for increased efficiency in Daily Log management.
