Day 1 Highlights: Harnessing AI to power the connected platform

The day kicked off with Procore executives setting the stage with the opening keynote, "Together, We Build What’s Next: Procore, AI and You." It is clear that the conversation has moved beyond whether AI is coming to construction to how we’re going to harness it for change. This theme was powerfully reinforced in the Product Keynotes for owners, general contractors, and specialty contractors. These keynotes vividly demonstrated how Procore is creating a single, connected platform that uses AI and data to help all stakeholders, across every phase of construction, solve real-world problems related to project collaboration, budget and resource management, and jobsite safety, among others.

Another major highlight was the "Building What’s Next with AI & Procore Helix" session, which featured live demos of how Procore Helix is already turning project data that customers collect into a competitive advantage. The message was practical: AI isn't here to replace expertise, but to amplify it—from instantly finding spec requirements and drafting RFIs, to spotting portfolio-wide risk patterns.

Additional sessions, such as “Beyond the Hammer: AI, Future Skills, and the Evolution of Construction Careers,” explored how to leverage AI and other technologies to address the construction industry's skills gap and strategies for attracting and retaining a future-ready workforce. This insightful discussion addressed common challenges of not knowing where or how AI can create value. One point that resonated well was Todd Wynne’s, Chief Innovation Officer at Rogers-O'Brien, frequently quoted guidance on using the three Ds: “Anything dull, dirty, or dangerous is something that AI can help support.”

The News: Unveiling the latest AI and connected construction innovations

Groundbreak wasn't just about sharing a vision—it was about providing customers with the tools needed to realize it. During the event, we announced new innovations that will fundamentally change how projects are managed.

The biggest buzz surrounded Procore Helix, with the launch of Procore Agent Builder (now in Open Beta), which allows customers to create custom AI agents to automate workflows like drafting RFIs and daily logs. We also announced major upgrades to Procore Assist to help improve project management by delivering new photo intelligence, mobile access, and multilingual support capabilities.

In addition to these AI innovations, we highlighted how we are further strengthening Procore’s platform with new features and enhanced functionality. Specifically, we took a big step towards addressing one of the construction industry’s biggest pain points with the release of Integrated Scheduling (now in Open Beta), marking a clear shift from reactive to proactive risk management. We also launched the new Safety Hub to unify key indicators to help prevent incidents, introduced portfolio monitoring and asset management for owners, and are now helping to close the operational visibility gap with the release of Unified Resource Management.

Day 2 Highlights: Vision, workforce, and collaboration

On Day 2, renowned futurist Nikolas Badminton kicked off the morning with his provocative keynote, "Building in the Age of AI: The Future of Design, Decision-Making, Productivity  and Workforce." His insight that we should move from asking “What is” to “What if?” was a powerful call to action for leaders to embrace a bold, strategic mindset. On getting started with AI, he offered a simple piece of advice: "I ask people to find the things that they don't like doing at work and to try and work out how they can automate those things.”

The human element was further emphasized in sessions like “Power in the Project: The People, Process and Platform Behind the Future of Building,” which brought together an owner, a general contractor, and a specialty contractor to discuss how they achieved success on a complex renovation by aligning people, process, and the Procore platform. Austin Boothe from Comfort Systems USA, the specialty contractor, emphasized the importance of instantaneous communication in navigating the complex job, noting that using BIM modeling and coordination through the Procore platform was a major factor in their success.
