Beta beginning April 21st. Procore Pay now empowers project teams with the ability to configure separate lien waiver templates for First-Tier Subcontractors and Sub-Tier vendors at the project level. This enhancement streamlines compliance by allowing you to assign the right legal documents to the right vendors, eliminating manual workarounds and reducing legal risk. The "Lien Waivers" settings tab in Project Settings has been reorganized for clarity, featuring dedicated sections for General Information, First-Tier Waivers, and Sub-Tier Waivers. Additionally, admins can now set default tier-specific templates in Standard Project Templates, ensuring consistency across new projects.
If a template isn’t manually selected, the system defaults to your company’s standard template or Procore’s provided templates, maintaining seamless waiver generation. Existing projects will have their previous templates migrated and backfilled to prevent errors. This update addresses a major customer pain point by supporting different field mappings and legal language requirements for each tier, helping you automate complex compliance needs and keep your projects moving forward with confidence.
