The latest updates to the Inspections tool focus on enhancing flexibility, granularity, and ultimate accountability.
Customers can now require a photo and/or observation based on the selected response for an inspection line item. This addresses the need for more flexibility and granularity to define the required action after a response is selected, ensuring accountability and accuracy in the inspection process. Another new feature includes the ability to add references to inspection line items, including drawings, photos, and attachments on Project level templates and attachments on Company level templates. This addresses the challenge of users needing more information about the work to be done and provides them with additional context and clarity so that expectations are clearly understood. This translates to a reduction in time wasted seeking clarification, delays, and rework. In addition, the introduction of signatures at the line item response is a significant enhancement, allowing users to sign-off on specific line items. This feature caters to scenarios where an inspection may involve multiple trades or parties, offering flexibility and ensuring ultimate accountability. Lastly, the Inspections distribution field on Android now includes distribution groups in addition to users. Previously this was only available on IOS and web.
