What it is: A company-level period management experience for admins, a period selector when creating a Project Status Snapshot, and portfolio-level filtering and comparison of snapshots by period. Validation prevents invalid period usage and enforces one approved snapshot per project per period.* Who it's for: General contractors and program-level finance leaders governing forecasts across a portfolio.
Why it matters: Governance depends on comparing apples to apples across projects. Anchoring snapshots to shared periods gives you a clean point-in-time view of the whole portfolio and cuts down on ad-hoc reconciliation between finance and project teams.
