UK’s Largest Railway Soon to Break Ground

In a joint venture of Balfour Beatty, Vinci and Systra (BBVS), construction of the UK’s largest-ever railway is set to commence in the coming months. According to Railway Hub, “the station, will meet a ‘BREEAM excellent’ standard, and have 14 platforms, six of which are for high-speed services and eight of which are for conventional services.”

Australian Construction Drops to Record Lows

According to a recent report from the Australian Industry Group and Housing Industry Association, the Australian Performance of Construction Index (PCI) dropped down to 21.6 in the month of April, as compared to 37.9 from the previous month.
