Credit Usage and Pricing Policy
Effective Date: July 22, 2026
This Credit Usage and Pricing Policy (this “Credit Usage and Pricing Policy”) explains how Credits are defined, allocated, and consumed in Procore and supplements Customer’s existing agreement with Procore (the “Agreement”). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Agreement. If there is a conflict between this Credit Usage and Pricing Policy and the Order, the Order controls.
1. How Credits Are Consumed
Procore employs a usage-based Credit system. Credits are consumed as Customer uses the Subscription Services, and the number of Credits consumed by a given action depends on the nature, complexity, and resource intensity of that action (i.e., more complex or resource-intensive actions consume more Credits).
Customers only consume Credits for work the Subscription Services actually performs, and Credits are drawn from Customer’s available balance at the time an action is performed.
2. Credit-Consuming Activities
Credits may be consumed by activities that are made available based on Customer’s configuration, including, without limitation:
AI processing — generating, analyzing, extracting, or transforming Customer Data, where consumption reflects the model used and the volume of data processed.
Data indexing, storage, and understanding — ingesting, indexing, and building a multimodal understanding of Customer Data (including documents, images, and other files) so it can be searched, retrieved, and used by the Agents.
Data enrichment and search — retrieving, enriching, or matching records through integrated data services.
Web research and extraction — searching, retrieving, and extracting information from web sources.
Communications — sending or receiving messages or calls, and provisioning associated resources, where supported by Customer’s plan.
Procore may add, modify, or remove Credit-consuming activities from time to time.
3. What a Task Costs
The number of Credits a task consumes depends on how much work is required to complete it. Based on Credit consumption measured across a large set of real Agent evaluations — from one-line answers to full data analyses — tasks generally fall into three tiers, outlined below.
The ranges below are approximate and illustrative only; they are not a rate schedule and do not guarantee the Credits consumed by any specific task. The estimated or actual Credit cost of an action is shown in the product in connection with that action.
Standard task — about 5–15 Credits
A focused, single-step request where the Agent reads the context provided and gives a direct answer, which may include:
Pulling specific fields out of a document and return them as clean, structured data;
Answering questions about uploaded files;
Running quick calculations or a short snippets of code; and
Answering a focused question from Customer’s knowledge base.
Medium task — about 20–40 Credits
A multi-step request where the Agent searches across several sources, using one or more tools, and synthesizes an answer with supporting evidence, which may include:
Finding and summarizing information spread across multiple documents;
Answering a domain or compliance question and citing the exact sources;
Searching technical specifications and providing precise values; and
Handling a multi-part question that requires running several tools at once.
Complex task — about 50–100+ Credits
A heavy, often long-running request involving large data, long documents, or many sequential steps, which may include:
Analyzing millions of records — say a year of daily logs — with SQL and explaining the trends;
Working through a multi-step project workflow that spans dozens of source files;
Looking up precise facts across millions of fully indexed rows; and
Drafting a long-form report or content piece from Customer’s source material.
Rule of thumb: The more reading, searching, and writing a request requires, the more Credits it costs.
Data indexing and storage
Indexing, storing, and maintaining a multimodal understanding of Customer Data is charged on a recurring basis at a rate of three (3) Credits per gigabyte (GB) per day in addition to the per-task costs above. This charge is based on the volume of data retained in Customer’s workspace and is assessed daily for as long as that data remains indexed and stored within the Subscription Services.
Customer can view its remaining Credit balance and Customer’s consumption for the current Subscription Term within Customer’s account at any time.
4. Metering and Measurement
Metering depends in part on third-party providers, including AI model, data and search, and communications providers. By using the Subscription Services, Customer agrees that Procore’s records and determinations govern all Credit consumption, balances, and usage.
5. Balances and Expiration
Credits are made available for each Subscription Term as described in the Order. Credits do not roll over. Any Credits that remain unused at the end of a Subscription Term expire and are not carried forward to any renewal Subscription Term (for example, monthly Credits will expire at the end of each month and annual Credits will expire at the end of each successive twelve (12) month period during the Subscription Term).
6. Not a Financial Instrument
Credits are prepaid, are not redeemable for cash or any other value, are not deposits, stored value, or financial instruments.
7. Pricing Adjustments
Procore may update the Credit Usage and Pricing Policy periodically, including the Credit allocations and the Credits required for particular activities, and updates will be reflected on the Credit Usage and Pricing Policy’s “Effective Date.”
