Beta beginning June 16. Resource Planning Boards has been rebuilt to make managing people and projects feel as quick as working in a whiteboard or spreadsheet — without leaving the page. Users can create, view, and update projects, assignments, requests, and categories directly from Boards, instead of bouncing between pages or copy-pasting from Excel to keep things in sync. The page is now built on React (replacing the legacy Knockout.js implementation), which sets up better performance and a cleaner foundation for future improvements.
For schedulers and operations leads, this cuts the time and clicks needed to maintain weekly assignments and removes the most common reason teams revert to spreadsheets: that the in-tool experience was slower than just typing. Setup is lighter, data density holds up at scale, and CRUD actions happen in the same view where users are already working. The Boards refresh is the first step in a broader Resource Planning experience that better fits how customers actually run their resource and workforce planning week to week.
