Transform Project Locations with Enhanced Mapping

Beta beginning May 19. Procore is excited to announce the open beta launch of the new Locations Tool, transforming how project teams manage and visualize locations. This dedicated tool replaces the legacy Locations Manager, moving location management out of the project-level Admin tool and into a streamlined, intuitive experience accessible directly from the main menu. With the new Locations Tool, users can create, edit, delete, import, export, and bulk manage locations using an improved hierarchical tree or list view. Enhanced permissions allow teams to control who can manage or export location data—without granting broad admin access—improving both security and efficiency.

A standout feature of the new tool is the ability to define locations as geospatial shapes, routes, or points on project maps, providing true spatial context for every team member. Additional capabilities include importing locations from BIM (Revit Plugin), CSV, or drawings, exporting to CSV, and printing QR codes for individual or multiple locations in various formats. Advanced settings let you control where locations can be created and whether codes are required, giving you flexibility to match your project’s needs.

By centralizing and modernizing location management, the new Locations Tool helps teams eliminate the hassle of disconnected spreadsheets and drawings. Field crews benefit from improved site orientation, office teams can conduct remote site visits, and automated data capture reduces manual entry errors. This update is part of Procore’s ongoing commitment to deliver a more discoverable, secure, and user-friendly experience for managing project locations.
