A New Location Details View in the Locations Tool

Beta5 jun 2026

Beta update beginning June 16. The Locations tool on web now includes a Location Details view that matches the mobile experience and is open to every Procore user — not just teams managing maps or locations. From the Tree or List view, users select a Location and see its name, code, and hierarchy path alongside the work tied to that location. Phase 1 surfaces associated items from Punch List, Observations, Incidents, and Inspections in tool-specific tables (with due date, assignee, status, and name where applicable), plus a Photos panel sorted by most recent date. Filtering by status and assignee makes it faster to find what needs attention, and tool-level permissions are respected throughout.

This update repositions the Locations Tool open beta to all customers — particularly general contractors and site teams — and the program in Procore Explore is being renamed to Locations Tool: Manage, Map & View Associated Items. Phase 1 lands on June 16, 2026, with GA targeted for November 17, 2026. For teams running observations or punch walks tied to a building, level, or zone, this turns Locations into a single anchor for the work in that place — instead of jumping between five separate lists to assemble the picture.
