Procore has enhanced the workflow termination experience across key tools—including Subcontractor Invoicing, Correspondence, Commitments, and Change Orders—with the new Terminate Optimization feature. This update introduces a required Reason field when terminating workflows, ensuring every action is fully auditable and compliant. Users must now select a status update during termination, which automatically manages access and permissions, preventing terminated records from remaining active or accessible.
A major efficiency boost comes with the new bulk termination capability: Document Admins and Workflow Managers can now select and terminate multiple workflows at once, applying the same reason and status to all selected items in a single, unified action. This eliminates repetitive, manual terminations and saves valuable time. Robust error handling ensures that if any item fails to terminate, the rest proceed successfully, with clear logging for audit trails.
These improvements deliver greater auditability, maintain correct authorization, and significantly streamline administrative tasks—empowering General Contractors, Owners, and Specialty Contractors to manage project workflows with confidence and efficiency.
