Multilingual ML Support for PDM Drawings

Launching March 25. Procore’s Preconstruction Document Management (PDM) solution now features enhanced machine learning support for French, Spanish, and Portuguese drawings. Previously, our ML detection pipelines were optimized for English, often missing or misidentifying key metadata fields—such as Type, Description, Revision, Date Authored, and Number—on non-English documents. This update expands our ML models and OCR post-processing to accurately recognize and extract these critical fields in French, Spanish, and Portuguese. This improvement significantly reduces manual data entry and correction, streamlining workflows for multilingual projects and minimizing delays and errors.
