Customizable RFQ Completion Email Messaging

Bêta31 mars 2026

Beta beginning April 15. Procore now empowers Admins with greater control over RFQ (Request for Quote) communications by introducing a new RFQ Settings page within Change Events. With this update, Admins can customize or completely remove the default “not a notice to proceed” disclaimer in RFQ completion emails. This enhancement addresses feedback from leading general contractors who found the previous hard-coded message confusing for vendors and subcontractors, especially when it conflicted with other project directives. The new RFQ Settings section, available at the project level, allows Admins to tailor the completion email message to fit their specific workflow. You can enter custom text (up to 256 characters) or leave the field blank to omit the notice entirely. Any changes are validated and saved with clear confirmation, and line breaks are preserved in outgoing emails. If no custom message is set, the email will no longer include the previous default disclaimer.

This update streamlines communication, reduces confusion for vendors and subs, and ensures your RFQ process aligns with your project’s needs. Only the RFQ completion/approved/closed email template is affected; all other RFQ email types remain unchanged.
