Stronger Alerts: 1,200-Character Limit Enforced

The Alerts form in Resource Planning now enforces a maximum message length of 1,200 characters (excluding dynamic tokens). Previously, users received a warning at 1,500 characters but could still submit longer messages. With this update, users are prevented from typing beyond the 1,200-character limit. This change is designed for Project Managers and Resource Managers who use Alerts to send SMS or email notifications to resources. By enforcing this limit, we help ensure that messages—including those expanded by dynamic tokens—are reliably delivered across all supported carrier networks, reducing the risk of SMS delivery failures due to carrier restrictions.
