The "Specs by Area" feature, addresses feedback from more than 900 customer accounts and enhances the management of specifications within Procore's platform. This new functionality allows construction teams to organise spec books by project area, reducing complexity and improving accessibility. Users can separate and manage specifications more effectively, empowering teams to focus on successful project outcomes without the hassle of managing multiple spec books manually.

The "Specs by Area" feature is a significant enhancement to Procore's platform, aimed at improving the organisation and management of specifications across multiple projects, especially those involving multiple buildings. This functionality allows Specs Admins to categorise and manage specifications by Area, similar to how drawings are organised. By implementing this feature, we provide a familiar and efficient solution for organising specifications, enhancing the overall user experience.
