Launching June 16. Document Management now connects directly to SharePoint, so project teams can pull files into Procore in one motion instead of downloading from SharePoint and re-uploading to Document Management one batch at a time. Eligible users authenticate to SharePoint from inside Document Management, browse the files they have access to, and link them as a one-time upload into Document Management Uploads — up to 500 files per action, with each file capped at 1 GB. Linked files behave the same as manually uploaded files for viewing, metadata, attachments, and recycle bin handling, so existing downstream workflows keep working without change.
For teams running a SharePoint-and-Procore environment, this replaces a slow, error-prone manual handoff and removes the cost of a third-party connector for the file-intake use case. Document controllers get faster, more reliable intake; project leaders get a stronger system of record with cleaner traceability from SharePoint into Procore. This release supports project-company employees with Document Management upload permissions on web, with manual uploads continuing to work as they do today.
