The 6-Month Sprint: De-risking Distributed Energy Delivery

Details

Solar and battery storage is fast becoming standard on new builds, and increasingly common on retrofits too. It's no longer just about saving money, either - it's about improving environmental credentials, reducing emissions, and improving energy security as our grid destabilises. The financial case itself is shifting too, as energy prices, certificate values and equipment costs continue to move. This session looks at what's working right now and what to be aware of to derisk your investment. We’ll cover how to manage solar and battery projects as a contractor, landlord or tenant so they run smoothly, and what's new in the technology space - including monetised batteries!

What you'll learn

• Why the business case has changed: What's now driving solar and battery decisions beyond cost savings, including environmental credentials, emissions reduction and energy security

• How to de-risk your investment: What to watch for to keep a project on track, whether you're a contractor, landlord or tenant

• What good delivery looks like: Practical ways to keep solar and battery projects running smoothly from planning through to completion

• What's new in the technology: Including how batteries can now generate income, not just save on power bills
