July General Enhancements for Project Execution

July General Enhancements:

Duplicate Action Plan Templates- Available July 21. Need a new Action Plan template that's close to one you already have? Now you can duplicate any company- or project-level template, tweak it for a different region or project type, and skip rebuilding from scratch. Roll out consistent standards in minutes, not hours.

Beta: Action Plans: Update One Template, Update Every Plan- Available July 21. Change a project's Action Plan template and the update cascades to all open plans automatically — sync new steps, criteria, or assignees across hundreds of active plans at once, while completed work and signatures stay untouched. Keep every team on the current standard without editing plans one by one.

Connection Manager: Pause a Connection Without Losing It- Available July 21. You can now disable, re-enable, and reset a connection from Connection Manager — same direction or a new one — without deleting and rebuilding the whole connection. As project roles shift, your connections adapt with you, no support ticket required.

Clearer Linking Controls in Correspondence- Available July 21. Managing linked items in Correspondence is now clearer — buttons, dialog titles, and confirmation messages spell out whether you're adding, editing, or removing a link, so each action does exactly what it says. Less guesswork, fewer accidental changes.

Sort Custom Fieldset: Find Assigned Projects Faster- Available July 21. When you assign projects to a fieldset, the list now floats already-assigned projects to the top instead of burying them alphabetically. See what's assigned at a glance, without scrolling through thousands of projects.

Daily Log Admin Page Improvements- Available July 21. We've updated the technical foundation behind the Daily Log company admin pages — everything works exactly as before, in the same places. If you've bookmarked any Daily Log admin settings pages directly, update them, as the page addresses have changed.

Modernized Daily Log Emails, Redesigned for Clarity- Available July 21. Daily Log notification emails now follow a cleaner, consistent design across web, iOS, and Android — so you can see at a glance when a log is rejected, completed, or a weather delay is recorded, and jump straight into Procore to act. Easier to scan on any device, faster to act on.

Document Management: Create and link connected items from the mobile viewer- Available July 31. Field users on mobile can now create and link Connected Items (RFIs, Inspections, Punch, and more) directly from the Document Management viewer — capturing the issue at the moment of discovery.

Document Management: Public and Private Markup Layers on Mobile- Available July 31. Public and private markup layers, already on web, are now available on mobile Document Management — so field teams can annotate documents in the field with the same control over what's shared.

Document Management: Customizable Viewer Panels- Available July 31. Panels in the Document Management viewer can now be moved and resized to match how you work, instead of fixed in a single layout.

Documents tool: Public and Private Markup on Mobile- Available July 31. Public and private markup layers come to the Documents tool on mobile, letting field teams annotate Documents tool files with the same controls available on web.

Incidents Admin Page Refreshed- Available July 21. The Incidents admin page has been updated, improving performance and consistency with the rest of the platform.

Root Cause Analysis Form for Incidents- Available July 21. A dedicated Root Cause Analysis form is now generally available within Incidents, helping safety teams capture and report on the 'why' behind every incident.

Inspections Admin Page Refreshed- Available July 21. The Inspections admin page has been updated for a cleaner navigation and consistency.

Beta: Predefined Location Types- Available July 21. Predefined Location Types continue in Open Beta with updates that make it easier to standardize how locations are structured across projects.

Project Address Marker and Popup on Maps- Available July 21. The Project Address now appears as a marker with a popup on Maps, making it easier to share and confirm where a project lives geographically.

Manage Meetings from your Mobile Device- Available July 21. Key Meetings tool actions that used to be web-only are now on mobile — create meetings from templates, set up follow-ups, convert agendas to minutes, and distribute agendas and minutes right from your phone. Wrap a meeting on-site and send the minutes before you've left the trailer.

No More Duplicate Meeting Items in My Open Items- Available July 21. Meeting action items now show up once in My Open Items instead of multiplying with every follow-up meeting, and closing an item resolves it everywhere. A cleaner list, accurate reporting, and a reliable view of what actually needs your attention.

Observations Admin Page Refreshed- Available July 21. The Observations admin page has been updated for consistency.

Beta: Modernized Observations Emails, Redesigned for Clarity- Available July 21. Observations notification emails now follow the same modern, consistent design — clearer about what happened and what to do next, and easy to read on web or mobile. To get started, enroll in the Open Beta via Procore Explore.

Improved Tool Card Dates and Filters on Project Map- Available July 21. Tool cards on Project Map now surface clearer dates and stronger filters, helping field teams find the items they care about faster.

Punch List Admin Page Improvements- Available July 21. Everything about your settings and configuration options remains the same — you'll find them exactly where you left them. Just note that if you have direct bookmarks to any Punch List admin settings pages, you'll want to update those, since the page URLs have changed.

RFI Admin Page Improvements- Available July 21. We've updated the technical foundation behind the RFI company admin pages — your settings and configuration options are unchanged and right where you left them. If you've bookmarked any RFI admin settings pages directly, update them, as the page addresses have changed.

Access External RFI Data Through the API- Available July 21. The external RFIs API endpoints are now public, so if you're connected to an upstream project through Procore Connect, you can pull that external RFI data programmatically — into your data lake, analytics, or AI tools — not just view it in the UI. The data you can see is now data you can sync.

Root Cause Analysis Admin Page Refreshed- Available July 21. The Root Cause Analysis admin page has been refreshed giving users a more modernized experience.

Beta: Import Asta .PP Schedule Files- Available July 21. Procore Scheduling now supports importing Asta Powerproject .PP files, so customers using Asta can bring their schedules into Procore directly.

Import OPC-Generated XER Files- Available July 21. Scheduling now imports XER files generated by OPC, broadening compatibility with the planning tools your teams already use.

Beta: Import Microsoft Project .XML Files- Available July 21. Scheduling now supports importing Microsoft Project .XML files, making it easier to move existing MS Project and Smarthseet schedules into Procore.
