Launching April 21st. Procore has introduced configurable Incident Types and the ability to customize the General Information fieldset within the Incidents tool, empowering admins to tailor incident forms to specific reporting needs. The tool enables the creation of up to 15 unique incident types with configurable fields and the option to hide irrelevant sections, streamlining data entry and improving reporting accuracy. Upon enablement, all existing incidents will be backfilled with the "General" type, and only this type will be active by default to ensure no disruption to current user flows. While this adds a single step for users to select the incident type during creation, it will not break existing functionality or analytics, as customers must explicitly enable additional types to expand beyond the default configuration.
