Launching April 21st. The Procore BIM Plugin v1.4.0 delivers major improvements for both IT administrators and project teams. This release introduces performance optimizations that dramatically speed up Coordination Issue exports by enabling concurrent data fetching, eliminating slow sequential loading for large projects. Installation is now more reliable and user-friendly, with the MSI installer refactored to use native AppData routing—ensuring files are placed correctly even in restricted IT environments, and removing the need for administrator permissions.
The user interface has been refined for greater clarity and efficiency. The panel now displays context-aware instructions based on the current file state, guiding users through actions like opening models or saving files. The Publish Revision panel gains new "Add/Edit Views" capabilities, making it easier to manage views directly. Action buttons such as Sync and Delete now automatically disable when no items are selected, reducing errors and confusion. Additionally, users receive a clear green success notification when moving an Issue to an Observation.
