Adding locational context to project items has immense value when it comes to both reporting and decision-making. We are excited to announce the launch of an improved Locations experience in Procore, powered by Procore AI.
This new experience allows project admins to quickly generate and update a list of locations based on architectural floor plans on vertical construction projects. Project users can then assign items to these locations and utilize the heatmap to visualize and connect project data across tools relative to a location, enabling deeper insights and better decision-making.
The traditional manual Locations setup will continue to remain available. For projects with pre-existing locations or ones that use the traditional locations setup, project items can still be viewed relative to a location using a tree structure view without a heatmap as part of this release.
