Preserving Costa Rica's Land by Minimizing Construction's Footprint
With help from Edificar's construction team, Santa Ana Country Club is the most innovative social and sports club built in Costa Rica in the last 40 years.Santa Ana Country Club is the only club to include sustainability criteria from design through construction stages, and the first private project to receive the Ecological Blue Flag Program (PBAE) Category XV: Sustainable Construction recognition. Innovative, efficient, and high-quality concepts helped to minimize the construction footprint and integrate the one-hectare facility with the surrounding nature—allowing for the remaining seven of eight total hectares to be preserved.
