RFIs: Clearer Actions and Cleaner People Lists

Feature Release5 June 2026

Launching June 16. Two changes that make RFIs easier to read and act on. The action button in the RFI Response card is now labeled, so you can see what it does at a glance — it reads "Add Response" when that's the only option, or opens an "Actions" menu when there's more than one choice. And when an RFI has a long list of people in the Assignees, Distribution List, or Ball in Court fields, the list now shows the first ten and tucks the rest behind a "+N More" button. Click it to see everyone in a pop-up. This is for project engineers and anyone who works in RFIs regularly — especially on big projects with high RFI volume and large project teams.

Before, the response button was just a "+" icon with no label, so you had to click to find out what it did — and on a single-option menu, that was a wasted step. At the same time, RFIs with big distribution lists stacked every name on top of each other, making the card hard to scan. Now the most common action is spelled out and one click away, and long people lists stay tidy. On complex projects where you're moving through a lot of RFIs, that's less guesswork and less scrolling. To get started, no setup needed — open any RFI and you'll see the labeled action button in the Response card. On RFIs with more than ten people in a field, click "+N More" to view the full list.
