Historically, creating a schedule lookahead involved whiteboards, Excel spreadsheets, and inconsistent communication between project teams. Collaborating with trade partners and referencing an up-to-date master schedule in real-time was almost unheard of.
With new Schedule Lookaheads, project teams can build out 1-6 week lookaheads, breaking down information pulled from the master schedule into more granular tasks. Trade partners can view, edit, and contribute to the lookahead, reducing risk, and ensuring the entire project team understands their work as it relates to project milestones and the critical path.
