The Communication Tab within Procore is a simple and easy way to manage all email communications related to a specific project. Procore is not a replacement for your current email software - instead, Procore brings the power of email to construction project management software. By using Procore, all of your construction project emails can be tracked and organized in one place, so you'll always be able to find those crucial project emails when you need them most.
Every project managed with Procore's construction software receives its own unique email address. Simply including this email address on your project communications means that Procore can archive your messages, and keep them all in one central, safe location. Procore automatically organizes construction project emails by subject in a "thread" fashion in order to organize and re-construct the history of every email conversation.
Procore also brings the power of instant email search to construction software. Procore users can search for any text in an email - for example, "plumbing" - and all of the emails with that term will be instantly displayed on the Project Communication page. In addition, the search term itself will be displayed as a highlighted text block within each email. Searching hundreds of project emails for a particular term can be accomplished in seconds, making Procore unique among construction software applications.
Because Procore is construction project management software and not a replacement for your current email application, you don't have to learn to use a new email system. Whether you use web-based software such as Hotmail or Gmail, or Microsoft Outlook, Procore will work with the system you already have.
