Detail: Procore's Construction Project Management Reporting Tool

Procore's construction project management software is effective in large part because of its powerful reporting tools. Procore users can quickly access Procore's standard project reports, or users can create custom reports to analyze project data using unique fields and views.

Procore data can be reported on from both the Portfolio/Program level and at the individual project level. For portfolio or program reporting, users can see a high-level view of portfolio project administrators, project delays across the entire program portfolio, and task status. An Unpaid Change Order Log provides visibility into change order payment status. In addition, company-level reporting includes job cost summaries and timecard tracking.

User sessions within Procore can be tracked at the portfolio level (i.e., user activity across all projects managed by Procore's construction project management software), or at the individual construction project level. User session reports provide a view of every action within Procore, including who did what, when, throughout the system. Every action taken by a Procore users is logged by the system, and all of those actions can be reported upon through the use of either standard or custom reports.

Project-level reporting provides a higher level of detail for analyzing the status of a wide variety of project management items. Standard Procore construction project management software reports include several different categories of information. A brief overview of the standard report types and the information contained in those reports provides just an example of Procore's reporting capabilities.

Procore's Schedule Reports provide information on schedule tasks that are both overdue and current. Look-ahead schedule reports can be set to provide a view of future tasks. Project administrators can see change request reports in order to see which schedule tasks have been requested to be changed. Schedule change reports can be sorted and filtered by date of the change, who requested the change, or the schedule time affect of those changes.

Procore's Project Reports cover cost codes, items grouped by assignment, committed costs, and budget forecasting. Vendor insurance status can also be tracked and reported on so that insurance certificate status is easily monitored and kept current.

Procore construction project management software has a robust and detailed Daily Log tool, and the accompanying Daily Log reports make it easy to view information on exactly what happened on the job site during the course of an individual construction project. Reports from the Daily Log can be run on plan revisions, calls, visitors, inspections, accidents, manpower on site, and more. Notes can be added to every daily log entry using Procore's mobile apps, so that information can be easily added from the field and then reported upon.

Procore also tracks project team timecard entries and status by hours worked, type of time worked (e.g., regular vs. overtime), and cost code for every task completed or time segment worked. Procore's timecard reports can be easily exported for use in an organization's accounting system, eliminating dual entry of timecard data.
